COVID-19 VICORIAN STATE RESTRICTIONS
COMPANY STATEMENT & POLICIES
Updated 7th August 2020 8.40pm
Due to the recent announcements made by the Victorian Government regarding COVID-19 Stage 4 restriction, please find important information about our operation the various services it offers, and how we are managing these services during this period.
During the lockdown all employees and subcontractors must wear masks at all times, practise social distancing of 1.5m and have their permitted worker permit and photo ID with them at all times.
Our manufacturing plant will continue to operate as normal and is not expected to experience any significant changes in its operations.
Deliveries will continue to operate as normal, but it is a requirement that there is a maximum of five people on site (including our driver) at the time of delivery. Our customer service department will confirm this at the time of booking the delivery, and in the event we arrive to site and we are unable to deliver because of this, the goods will be brought back to us.
Service will continue to operate under a highly restrictive basis which will involved attending to critical repairs, where required for emergency or safety only. This includes both new and existing service bookings.
Site Measures & Installation
All of the comments below are applicable for both new orders, unconfirmed orders, confirmed orders and orders that are currently on our production floor or waiting to be deliviered. Please note that you will be required to provide us with a relevant letter confirming some of the below points and how it applies to your circumstances.
New Construction Sites
We're able to conduct site measures and installation for construction projects provided that the construction site is working under a COVID safe plan. At the time of attending a site measure or installation, it is essential that the site is adhearing to it's COVID safe plan and that the the people on site is limited to the requirements as set out in your territories stage of restrictions.
We're able to conduct site measures and installation for rennovations projects if that rennovation is deemed to be a significant rennovation rather than more of a cosmetic facelift. An example of an acceptable rennovation would be that if there are new structures being build. An example of a non-acceptable rennovation would be that if we are simply just replacing some existing windows (this would be deemed as not acceptable).
We're able to conduct site measures and installation for any work that is deemed to be an emergency. Some examples of what would be deemed as an aemergency would be if you're unable to close a door, a door has fallen of it's hinges and can't be repaired or glass has been smashed. Some examples of what would not be deemed as an emergency would be if there is a scratch on the glass or a window needs to be replaced by the existing window isn't causing you any significant harm.
We thank you for your understanding during this time and will continue to work hard to minimise any disruptions.
