new manufacturing plant to open 2023
22nd April 2022
As part of our ongoing commitment to high performance and sustainability, BINQ is proud to announce it has secured a second manufacturing facility as it introduces uPVC to its mix.
Currently under construction, the 1,000m2 Keysborough space will be ready to move into the first quarter of 2023, which just in time for the arrival of the state of the art production line that has been purchased.
"Adding uPVC to our offer is a natural progression for us and it will further cement BINQ as Australia's leading manufacture for high-performance windows.
uPVC windows far surpass the thermal performance of aluminium and when comparing the performance uPVC windows can achieve uValues of 1 or below, making their performance very similar to our timber products.
As the requirements for better energy ratings continue to increase, we see uPVC as being the natural replacement for aluminium. Coupling uPVC with our timber offer will make us the only manufacturer in Australia to offer both timber and uPVC materials - and this is something we are very excited about.." says Managing Director Jacob Cosentino.
Upon the arrival of the new machinery, BINQ will have the capacity quickly become the largest uPVC manufacturer in the country, and with existing sales networks and the growing demand for high performance windows, this capacity is expected to fill quickly.
BINQ will formally introduce uPVC to it's offer last quarter of 2022 ready to deliver orders late February of 2023 onwards.
